Do I need an accounting or finance background to learn SAP FICO? +
It helps, but it is not required. SAP FICO sits at the intersection of finance and software, so we teach the accounting concepts you need (debits and credits, GL, AP, AR) alongside the SAP configuration. B.Com, M.Com, CA-Inter, MBA Finance and accounts professionals are the most natural fit, but committed beginners do well too.
What will I actually learn in the SAP FICO course? +
Financial Accounting end to end: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting. Then Controlling (cost centres, internal orders, Margin Analysis), taxes (GST, TDS, GCC VAT), FI-MM and FI-SD integration, and S/4HANA Finance with the Universal Journal and Fiori reporting.
Will I practice on a real SAP system, or just watch slides? +
You configure on a live SAP system from the first week. You will create company codes, post documents, run the Automatic Payment Program and close a month yourself. Watching configuration is not the same as doing it, and recruiters can tell the difference.
Is SAP FICO still in demand now that everything is moving to S/4HANA and the cloud? +
More than ever. SAP's older ECC platform reaches end of mainstream support in 2027, which is pushing thousands of companies to migrate to S/4HANA. Those migrations need FICO consultants who understand both the finance and the new platform. That is exactly what this course teaches.
What is the starting salary for a SAP FICO consultant in India? +
Freshers typically start between Rs 4 and Rs 7 lakh per year, depending on the company and your skills. With a few years and an end-to-end implementation under your belt, Rs 12 to 20 lakh is common, and senior consultants and architects earn well beyond that. S/4HANA skills add a clear premium.
Which SAP certification does this course prepare me for? +
The main path is C_TS4FI_2023, the SAP Certified Associate for SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting. We also prepare you for C_TS4CO_2023 (S/4HANA Management Accounting, the Controlling counterpart). We build the certification preparation into the course, but the official exams are booked through SAP and charged separately.
How long is the course and how much time do I need each week? +
Five months, around 240 hours, across 10 modules and three capstones. Plan for roughly 8 to 10 hours a week of live sessions plus practice. The schedule is designed so working professionals and students can keep up.
Is the course online or in a classroom, and what is the batch size? +
Both. We run in-person batches in Trivandrum, Kochi and Bengaluru, and live online batches across Kerala, the Middle East, the UK, Europe and the US. Every batch is capped at 25 so the trainer actually knows your work.
Can I do this course from anywhere in Kerala, and is it taught in Malayalam? +
Yes. We run live online batches you can join from anywhere in Kerala, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur, as well as from the GCC and the wider Middle East where many Malayalee finance professionals work. Classroom learning is available at our Trivandrum, Kochi and Bengaluru centres. Sessions are taught in clear English with Malayalam support, so language is never a barrier.
Do you guarantee a job after the course? +
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We provide structured placement support, real introductions across 400+ corporate partners, resume and interview preparation, and support that continues for six months after you finish. The effort in interviews is still yours.
