Why Advanced Excel, and why now

Every company runs on it

From Technopark to the Gulf, MIS reports, budgets, sales trackers and management dashboards still live in Excel. It is the single most demanded office skill in job listings across finance, operations, HR and analytics.

The fastest route to an analyst desk

MIS Executive, Reporting Analyst and entry Data Analyst roles hire on Excel skill first. Advanced Excel gets you productive and employable in weeks, and it is the natural first step into our full Data Analytics course.

Modern Excel is a different tool

Power Query, dynamic arrays, LAMBDA, Power Pivot and Copilot have transformed Excel since most people learned it. Knowing the modern toolset is what separates “knows Excel” from “runs the reporting”.

Dashboards that answer questions at a glance - module 5 is devoted to building them.

Real business data in every session - sales, finance and operations workbooks.

Live batches with a practitioner trainer - ask questions in real time, not in a forum.

Who this course is for

Final-year students and freshers

Add a concrete, provable skill to your resume before you graduate. No prior experience assumed; week one levels everyone up from basics.

Working professionals

You already live in Excel but fight it daily. Weekend and evening batches teach you Power Query, dashboards and automation that give you hours back every week.

Commerce and finance graduates

B.Com, BBA and MBA graduates targeting MIS, accounts and finance roles. Pairs naturally with our SAP FICO and finance courses.

Curriculum: 8 modules, all hands-on

Every module ends with a working deliverable on real business data. By the end you have an automated MIS pack and an interactive dashboard you can open in an interview and walk through.

Module 1 · Excel foundations, fast

Structured refresher so everyone starts level: cell references, tables, named ranges, formatting for readable reports, sorting, filtering and keyboard-first working. We fix the bad habits that slow people down for years.

Module 2 · Advanced formulas that do the heavy lifting

XLOOKUP and INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS and COUNTIFS, IFS and nested logic, text and date functions, dynamic arrays (FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT, SEQUENCE), LET and LAMBDA, error handling and formula auditing.

Module 3 · Data cleaning with Power Query

Import from files, folders and the web; split, merge, unpivot and reshape; remove duplicates and fix messy exports; refreshable queries so next month's report is one click, not one day.

Module 4 · PivotTables, Power Pivot and the data model

PivotTables and PivotCharts done properly, grouping and calculated fields, slicers and timelines, relationships across tables with Power Pivot, and DAX measures for metrics Excel formulas cannot do.

Module 5 · Dashboards that get you noticed

KPI design, chart selection, conditional formatting, sparklines, form controls and slicer-driven interactivity. You build a management dashboard that updates itself when the data changes.

Module 6 · Analysis, what-if and forecasting

Goal Seek, Scenario Manager and data tables, Solver basics, descriptive statistics, trendlines and forecast sheets, and how to sanity-check numbers before your manager does.

Module 7 · Automation with macros and VBA

Recording and editing macros, the VBA editor without fear, variables, loops and conditions, worksheet and workbook events, and building one-click automations for repetitive reporting.

Module 8 · Excel + AI, integrations and capstone

Using Copilot and AI assistants with Excel responsibly, connecting Excel to Power BI and Google Sheets, protecting and sharing workbooks, and a capstone: a fully automated MIS pack you present in interviews.
